PASTOR’S WELCOME MESSAGE

PASTOR’S WELCOME MESSAGE

We are very delighted to see you today. We had been looking forward to seeing you and would be glad to help you connect with the Source of all comfort, if you do not have a relationship with Him at the moment.

Perhaps you have been yearning for joy and fulfillment in this world of transient joy. May be you have been craving for someone to fill that void that appears in your heart sometimes. This is a wonderful opportunity to know the Person I am talking about. Knowing Him will guarantee all you need to have a fulfilled life. He has made specific promises concerning you and I have known Him to be faithful to his Word. Some of His promises that He signed and sealed with His blood include:

To be closer to you than a mother would be to her sucking child (Isaiah 49:15)

To neither leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5b)

To give you rest from all your burdens. He says “cast your cares upon me for

I care for you” (1Peter 5:7)

To be the friend who is closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24)

This wonderful companion is no other person than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The only condition to receiving all these amazing promises is to allow Him come into your life to be your Lord, friend and counselor. He declares “I stand at the door of your heart and knock, if you open up you heart and let me come in, I will come in and sup with you” (Revelations 3:20).

However, He can only come in and sup with you if you first acknowledge your sins and forsake them. This means being cognizant that you are a sinner. The scripture says “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). This step is vital because the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23). God has no pleasure in the death of a sinner (Ezekiel 33:11).

It is also important that you recognize that you cannot help yourself. Hence, you need Jesus. Jesus declares emphatically “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to God except through me” (John 14:6). In the book of the Acts of the Apostles (4:16), the Bible states without any aorta of doubt: “There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved except the name of Jesus.”

I implore you from the depth of my soul to let Him come into your life today. He wants to help you and give you His rest. He says “My burden is light and my yoke is easy” (Matthew 11:30). Do you want to open the door of your heart to the Creator of all creations right now? All you need to do is to say the following prayer whole-heartedly:

Father, I know I am a sinner, I recognize that you sent your only begotten

Son to come into the world to die for my sins. He suffered and died for my

sins, but You raised Him from death. I confess all my sins and ask for

forgiveness. Lord, write my name in the Book of Life. I declare that I am

a new creature in Jesus Christ.

If you have rendered this prayer from your soul, I say congratulations! You have proclaimed Him your Savior with your mouth and believed Him with your heart. The Bible says “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from death, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9).

The heavens celebrate every soul that is saved. I join the innumerable company of the host of heavens to welcome you into the family of God. Welcome!
